What Your Practice Needs to Know about Meaningful Use

You probably think of Meaningful Use (MU) as a regulatory catalyst driving the adoption of electronic health records (EHRs). You’re not wrong; that’s exactly what it’s designed to do—especially in Stage 1. It offers financial incentives intended to help healthcare organizations—particularly smaller practices—implement an EHR.

It asks us all to ensure that patient data is not just captured, but used, shared and analyzed to improve care.

Which stage of MU is your practice working to achieve? Have you started to experience the benefits of capturing and using data to improve care?
